So this little cutie is 8 months old! He is growing up so fast. I have been told alot lately that he looks more like a toddler and less like a baby these days. I kind of agree. What a blast Mr. Colton and I have been having. He is just the most amazing kiddo. Poor little guy has has been sick and not himself lately. Yesterday though the bubbly and fun little colton returned, thank goodness. It was really starting to ware on me.
Thank you to all the amazing people who have kept us in your prayers, we cannot thank you enough. I also want to ask for your continued prayers. So last week I took Colton into the Dr because he just had a list of problems. High Fever, rashes, some eye problems and just not being himself. So the base Dr sent us to Billings, Mt to see a children's ophthalmologist. In case you are not familiar with MT geography that is a 3.5-4 hr drive. So I was able to get an appointment that week or wait till August. August!?! Yeah, so I got on the road with the little guy and we got in last week. He is having a problem with right eye. Most people don't notice it and usually think its his left eye if they do, and it more apparent when he is sick. I forget the technically name but he can't look all the way up, he just makes up for it by lifting his chin up all the time when he is looking up at your. Poor guy we are so tall he is always looking up. Just throws his balance off when he is trying to sit and things like that. Anyways, we go back in September. They said it could fix its self but not likely. So they will either try a patch, glasses or maybe even surgery. So only time will tell. I was an emotional wreck and was so worried about having to make huge decision with out jeremy. But after going to the Dr I actually felt better. We will continue to see the eye Dr for quite a while now and so starts another long journey. It has been a long couple week with little sleep with a sick little guy and driving all over the state. So glad happy little colton is back! Thank you again for the continued prayers and we just ask to keep sending a few our way. Thanks!
So in between Colton being sick we also ventured up to Kalispell, MT for the Montana Spartan Race. It was a BLAST! Now with that being said it was also challenging at some points. It was a 5.2 mile run with 38 obstacles along the way. The views were amazing and the team aspect was so much fun. If you didn't complete the obstacle you had to do 30 burpees. Needless to say I had to do 90 burpees. I think i might even try to do one in CA in the winter. If you have the chance you should sign up you won't regret it. There is fire you jump over and walls to climb and just tons of fun to be had. I will try to post a picture. An added bonus is there is an AMAZING ice cream shop in Kalispell that we hit up after the race. Plus the Flathead area is just gorgeous.
Happy 8 months little guy!
On mothers day Colton and I just had to drive back to Great Falls so we took a quick stop in Whitefish to grab breakfast at a little cafe and then went to Glacier National Park for a few minutes before heading home. It was a relaxing and fun day. The park still isn't really open so there is practically no one there and still some great views. It was so much fun just hanging out with Colton. Jeremy sent me a cool key chain from Colton and Jeremy and my friends were sneaky and sent a card from colton with his hand prints on it. I LOVED it! Jeremy also nominated me for a photo shoot and we won! I feel like I won even more just by reading the sweet letter he sent in for the nomination. I was truly blessed with the best husband and best friend in the whole world. If you check out my facebook page I was tagged in it. Anyways best mothers day, hands down.

At 8months:
- You are sitting lots more on you own now, you can watch a whole book while sitting
- You had to be moved into a bigger car seat and likes it once you are strapped it. You were too tall for your last car seat and now I can hear you just having a blast talking or dancing in the back.
- You went to your first Zoo (not a big zoo) your favorite thing to watch was a Horse, you are totally my son.
-You will eat just about any solid foods and getting lots better about holding a bottle on your own
-You are a happy boy and everyone loves your smiles and expressions
-You roll everywhere, still haven't figured out how to crawl.
- You still only have your two front teeth and no signs of anymore just yet.
